After writing my first book "The United States Seen through the Eyes of a Danish Fag", I realized that I had a lot more to say about religion - both the way I was introduced to it, and how I observed it in Denmark - but also, and even more so, how it was present in the United States and how it was used, and still is used, for many purposes, both good and not so good.

So, after touching on it in the first book, I dove deeper into my thoughts about it in this one, as well as my own journey ever since childhood, and about how I saw it, see it and have experienced its various shapes over the years.

I grew up in a very un-religious household, as most Danish people do, I think. But you still see it represented, and if there is anything I remember very clearly, after my move to the USA, it's the major contrast between how it's practiced in Denmark, and in much of Western Europe, and how it's practiced in the United States.

I don't need to make it a secret, that I am not a fan of religion in any form, and that I don't think it fundamentally serves any of us very well. But why do I think this? This book is both my tales of personal experiences but also about my thoughts regarding religion - and, as many of us do, my own self-exploration of why I thought the way I do about it. So many opinions come out of fear, out of ignorance and out of wishful thinking, and I am also exploring that here. I, by no means, have all the answers. But some people think they do, and I also explore that in this story of a few mythologies from around the world.

Right above, you can get the book for free as a PDF. Should you wish to purchase it as a paperback or hardcover, either message me, or head over to Amazon or Tigger & Cabo Publishing, where you can get it. If you read it, feel free to send me your thoughts on it. Thank you!
